Even you, as a private person, can alert us if your next of kin has gone missing. Thanks to donations, missing person searches are free of charge for next of kin in Switzerland. REDOG cooperates with the police in all cases.

The REDOG search and rescue dog teams are on standby around the clock. REDOG, the Swiss search and rescue dog association, is a Swiss organisation that provides comprehensive training for search and rescue teams comprising dogs and humans that search for missing persons and disaster victims.

In the event of natural disasters, explosions or collapsed buildings, REDOG cooperates with emergency services, cantonal authorities, crisis committees and partner organisations in Switzerland and abroad.

The police alerts REDOG about missing persons in Switzerland. These are often elderly people, hikers and mushroom pickers. They all have one thing in common:
They may be in a life-threatening predicament where every second counts.
